Automation 360: The Cloud RPA Platform

Automation Everywhere Automation 360, also known as a2019, is a digital workplace or RPA platform newly launched by automation anywhere. Integrating both legacy and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications is one of their key features. This feature offers the tools needed to automate directly through the web-based platform from the entire Desktop, Web, and SaaS API Services in one distinct framework. It allows users to automate the application across various industries and infrastructures like telecoms, banking, and business process outsourcing (BPO). The migration to this platform offers you advantages such as faster time to value, agility, and lower TCO.

Automation 360: Why Does it Matter?

In October 2019, Automation Anywhere launched the Enterprise A2019 now known as Automation 360, the first platform that offers RPA-as-a-Service as a complete solution for companies of any size. In addition, enterprise A2019 offers a 100% cloud-based user experience that is cloud-based that has affordable costs of ownership.

In today’s digital world, where all daily operations and transactions are digitized, the A2019 SaaS model enticed many existing AAE users and new users due to its simplicity of use, operational power, and lower expense owning.

The Automation world is changing quickly with the advent of technology; enterprises must be able to keep pace with the advancements. It requires a lot of attention to adopt this new technology with the ability to integrate new systems and tools, time efficiency, enterprise-grade security and security, governance and compliance, and the well-known old technology vs. new technology debate.

Migration Pre-requisites

Before initiating the Automation Anywhere migration process, we perform a thorough inspection of your existing infrastructure making sure that the migration process is as seamless as possible.

Our verification process involves:

Step 1. Checking your migration readiness

Deciding upon when and what bots to migrate based upon the understanding of migration readiness of your bots. This is done by running the bot scanner utility. The bot scanner utility scans your bots and generates a report on what bots can be migrated and which bots are not yet supported for migration along with an ETA as to when these unsupported bots would be supported by the new platform.

Are You Planning to Upgrade to Automation 360 (A2019) From V11?

Additional Value of the Migration Process

I13-svg

Migration at your desired pace

The migration tools provide you with control over what to migrate and when. You may choose to migrate all your bots at once or take an approach of a few bots at time. During the transition period from Enterprise 10 or 11 to Enterprise A2019, you can continue to run bots on the previous platform like normal until your migration is complete.

I14-svg

Zero Downtime

The migration does not impact any scheduled bots or the ability to run bots as planned on Enterprise 10 or 11 while migration to Enterprise A2019 is occurring. As long as your infrastructure requirements are met according to your automation needs, there should be no pause in regular automation activities.

I15-svg

Time taken for migration

Migration time will vary by the number of bots the customer has, by customer’s processes and by the number of Bot Runners and machines which are performing the migration. While some customers may be able to migrate quickly, others may take longer overall due to their particular internal processes and requirements.
